It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Bachtel (Port Clinton, Ohio), who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorothy Mahler and James Robbins; her husband Harvey V. Bachtel, Sr.; her children, Frances L. Gardner (Robert) of Port Clinton and Harvey V. Bachtel, Jr. (Pam) of Port Clinton; and her grandchildren, Debrah Gardner, Joseph Gardner (Teresa), Daniel Gardner, Danielle Wagner (Travis), Brent Bachtel, Brian Bachtel and Janie Hug (James). She was also cherished by thirteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
