He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Johnson; his daughter Peggy Yost; his grandsons, Donald Yost Jr. and Brandon Johnson; and his siblings, Billy Johnson, Jenny, Sarah and Marcelene.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Perdue (Jim) of Point Pleasant, WV., Robert Johnson (Sandy) of Peebles, Sharon Keeder (Charlie) of East Liverpool and Andrea Doerfer of Pomeroy; his brother Eddie Johnson of Point Pleasant; and his brother-in-law Clarence. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, several step-grandchildren.
