She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Rae and Anna Mae Martin (Morris); her husband Calvin Dowell; her former husband Lesley Gibbs; her stepdaughter Debbie Folmer; her stepgrandson Tyler Willis; her close friend Arlene "Peg" Krautter; and her sisters-in-law, Gwen Martin and Luette Martin.
She is survived by: her children, James W. Gibbs (Karen), Brian Gibbs (Alicia) and Stacey Cleland (RJ Reynolds); her stepson Roger Dowell; her grandchildren, Brandy Jackson (Jeromy), Tiffany Willis, Thomas Dowell (Marissa), Bethany Weddle (Robert), Patrick Gibbs, Ronnie Barker (Kate), Haley Souto Da (Marcos), Kayla Dowell, Tristan Dowell and Megan Cleland (Donald Shaffer) of Aubrianna Gibbs, TJ; and her brothers, Joseph E. Martin (Donna), Richard E. Martin and Thomas Jeffrey Martin (Mary). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
