He was predeceased by: his wife Iola Howell; and his sisters, Kathleen Poulton and Opal Caruthers. He is survived by: his children, Leonard Lyons (Judy) of Orlando, Jeffrey "Mick" Howell (Debbie) of Racine and Kaye Walker (Larry) of St. Augustine, Florida; and his great great grandchild Levi Mason Hendley. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
