It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richards Lawrence Ray of Pomeroy, Ohio, born in Nelsonville, Ohio, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ray Richards and Alice McLaughlin Cartwright; his stepfather William "Bill" Cartwright; and his brother William "Bill" Richards. He is survived by: his wife Tina D. Cowan Richards of Pomeroy; his daughter Larina Sisson (Tyler) of Pomeroy; his grandchildren, Heaven, Daisy and Irene Sisson; and his siblings, Chuck Richards of Chesterhill, Anthony "Nick" Richards (Denise) of Lancaster, Waynetta "Netta" Martin of Albany and Bill Bopp of Johnstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
