In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Weber Wood and Murl Hart Wood; her siblings, Ernest Wood (Ethel), Ilah Hoffman (Russ) and Norman Wood (Jean); and her brother-in-law Leo King (Pauline). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, six great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Homes (590 E Main St, Pomeroy, OH 45769). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Bible Church which will be donated to missions abroad.
