It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Curtis Hunter of Pomeroy, Ohio, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Warren Curtis and Virginia Irene Lower Curtis; her husband Henry Lee Hunter; her brother Jackie Lee Curtis; and her brothers-in-law, Herschel "Doc" Hunter and Harley Harbison.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Livengood (Mark) of Arden, N. C. and Tom Hunter (Lauren) of Evans, W. V; her siblings, Roger Curtis (Ethel) of Weston, W. V and Anna Lough (Stanley) of French Creek, W. V; her siblings-in-law, Harry Hunter (Barbara) of Millwood, W. V, Hansel Hunter (Carolyn) of Custer, S. D., Herman Hunter (Kathy) of Mason, W. V, Homer Hunter of Stony Bottom, W. V, Betty Curtis of Buckhannon, W. V, Elsie Hunter of Vienna, W. V, Roberta Harbison of Huber Heights and Sue Maison of Tuppers Plains, Ohio; her close friends, Sheila Horstman of Kennewick and Orvis "Wink" Jorgensen (Marcie) of Waubay, S. D.; her grandchildren, Mary-Patricia Wray (Ira) of Baton Rouge, Hannah Krietzer (Brian) of Miamisburg, Hailey Hunter, Sydney Hunter of Barboursville, W. V and Hayden Hunter of Evans, W. V; and her great grandchildren, Henry Lee Wray, Andrew Jameson Dean Krietzer and Weber James Wray. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and many, many friends.
