It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Cole of Pomeroy, Ohio, born in Lakeview, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Dale McQueen; her sister Deborah Ann McQueen; her grandparents, Gertrude Alvira Sperry, Hiram Lloyd Sperry and Mary Elizabeth Peterson; her father-in-law Richard S. Cole; and her brother-in-law Ryan Cole.
She is survived by: her mother Sandra Joyce Sullivan; her husband Richard Cole; her sister Linda Kay VanHouten; her niece Brittany Jo Hall (Rowan); her nephew Michael Santas Hall; her stepchildren, Heather Cole and Chris Cole; her mother-in-law Esther Cole; and her siblings-in-law, Leslie Cole, Laurel Ashby (Patrick) and Rory Cole. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
