John Wesley Moore Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Wesley Moore Sr. of Pomeroy, Ohio, who passed away on October 21, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lenora Marie Moore (Davis); his children, John W. Moore Jr. (Liz), Shilo Little (Adam), Aaron Moore (Elizabeth) and BillyJo Moore; his parents, Donald Moore and Laura Jean Hoon; his stepmother Betty Moore; his siblings, Dorothy Stevens, Debbie Johnson (Jerry), Mary Moore-Singh, Thomas and Donald Moore; his brother-in-law John Davis; and his grandson Kenton Donald Moore.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Austin, Morgain Little, Nikky, Hayley Moore and Oliver Moore; his great grandchild Graylyn Little; his stepfather James Hoon; his sisters, Paula Collins and Lora Wilson; his sisters-in-law, Tricia Baer (Eddie) and LeAnna Newsome; his brothers, Danny Russell (Leah "Janey") and Gerald Moore (Diane); and his brothers-in-law, Joe Davis (Laura) and Rahul Singh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Homes (590 E Main St, Pomeroy, OH 45769). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home (590 E Main St, Pomeroy, OH 45769).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests going to a church service on Sunday.
