He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsel Riebel and Dorotha Riebel (Newland); his wife Glenna Riebel; and his sisters, Luella Jean Thomas and Louise Morton.
He is survived by: his son John Jr. Riebel (Tammy); his grandchildren, Cari Wachter (Ryan) and Ethan Steger; his great grandchildren, Max and Rowan Wachter; his daughter Pam Buckley (Bryce); his grandchildren, Daniel Buckley (Darci) and Andrea VanInwagen (Dustin); and his great grandchild Kasen VanInwagen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
