He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Mowery and Agnes Mowery; his wife Terri Daugherty Mowery; and his siblings, Johnny Mowery, Jimmy Mowery, Joann Swearingen and Judy VanCooney.
He is survived by: his son Jesse Mowery; his siblings, Kenneth Mowery and Linda Rye (Dennis); and his sister-in-law Karen Mowery. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
