With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lee Michael (Pomeroy, Ohio), who passed away on March 9, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Michael (Hamm); his son Todd Michael; his father Sam Michael; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Ihle and Roger Leifheit.
He is survived by: his friend Christian; his wife Sharon Michael; his children, Matthew Michael (Patty) and Kimberly Spencer (Jared); his grandchildren, Sarah, Katie Michael, Jacob, Leah and Jenna Spencer; his stepgrandchild Chrissy; his sisters, Louise Michael and Lenora Leifheit; and his close friends, Tom and Shirley Kurz. He is also survived by four step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations may be made to Mt. Herman Church and the Gideons.
