He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Shain and Hazel Snyder Shain; his wife Cressa Mae Shain; and his siblings, George Shain, Susan Hayes and Danny Shain.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph William Shain of Florida, Norma Ann Clark (Bill) of Columbus, Alma Ruth Johnson of Racine, Robert "Sam" Shain (Ruth) of Racine, Harry Allen Shain of Bethany, Paul Leonard Shain of Bidwell and Kathy Searles of Racine; his sister-in-law Dorothy Shain; and his close friends, Lester and Pam Parker.
