He was predeceased by: his grandmother Alma Frazier; his parents, Hilda Frances Martin and Burl Martin; his uncle Lonnie Edward Frazier; and his parents-in-law, Howard and Rachel Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Mae Martin (Wilson); his children, Angela Sue Martin (John V. Story), Margo Elaine Filkins (Bruce), Franklin Andrew Martin (Stephanie Adams) and Steven Russell Martin (Jodi); and his close friend Little Girl Star.
