She was predeceased by: her parents, Parker Chaney and Sadie Pettit Chaney; her siblings, John Chaney, Linda Clary and Florence Nolan; and her grandchildren, Stacey and Chris.
She is survived by: her children, Monty Proffitt (Alice), Terry Proffitt (Brenda) and Patty Proffitt; her grandchildren, James, Jesse, Tammi, Jamie and Brianne; her stepgrandsons, Joshua and Jeremy; and her sister Dorothy Stewart. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, the families wishes are that there will be no public services.
