It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn McDaniel of Pomeroy, Ohio, born in Toone, Tennessee, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Manley Hazlegrove and Hazel Hazlegrove (Morris); and her siblings, William, John and Joan.

She is survived by: her husband George W. "Bill" McDaniel; her daughters, Rochelle Lawless (Bill) and Roxanne McDaniel (Sean O'Malley); her grandchildren, Delana Taylor (Michael), Cara Mason (Joshua), Alex O'Malley and Margot O'Malley; her great grandchildren, Gideon, Naomi Taylor and Ari Mason; and her siblings-in-law, Paul and Charlene McDaniel.
