He was predeceased by: his parents, John P Norris and Grace L Norris of Polk; his sister Sandra Owens of Mansfield; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Humrichouser and Robert Kopp Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Susan Humrichouser; his children, Holly (Norris) of Ashland and Shelley (Norris) of Ashland; his granddaughter Kennedi Hawksworth (Austin) of Ashland; his great grandchild Beckley James (Hawksworth); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Kopp Jr. of Dayton and Anne Humrichouser of Ashland.

“Hello to the Norris family. although we never met your father meant a great deal to me. Your father and I met a year ago . He was my driver from Council on aging. We shared many stories on our trips to and from dialysis. He reminded me of my own father. Jim talked fondly of his wife, and daughters,usually always having a weekend or holiday story to share Jim will always have a special place in my heart I just wish I had more time with him. Thanks for sharing him !”
