He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Getz and Mary Esther Getz (Finley). He is survived by: his wife Karen Gibson; his daughters, Gail Getz of Ashland, Laurie Nichols (Jerry) of Ashland and Jill Moody of Ashland; his grandchildren, Gary Nichols, Sheri Nichols, Dylan Moody and Christopher Runions; his son Reggie; and his friend Jim Cole.
