He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Garver and Helen Garver (Mowrer); his brothers, Chuck Caskey (Anita) and Dick Garver; his father-in-law Harry Shoenberger; his brothers-in-law, Dean Shoenberger and Rex Ramsier; and his niece Amie Garver.
He is survived by: his uncle Gib; his wife Judy Shoenberger; his daughters, Lisa Marie Eichelberger (Luke) of Jeromesville and Laura Ashley Buckingham (Tosh) of Burbank; his grandchildren, Brynn, Case, Kennedy Eichelberger, Ridge and Remi Buckingham; his siblings, Carole Daugherty (Ronnie) of Strongsville, Sue Ann Zerrer (Jon) of Wooster, Treva Duncan of Evans, Betty Ramsier of Wooster and Dave Garver (Arlene) of Polk; his sisters-in-law, Connie Shoenberger of Polk and Sandy Morgan (Brad) of Gainesville; and his mother-in-law Jane Shoenberger of Ashland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as great great nieces and nephews.
