He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony and Theresa; his siblings, Jerry, Carol Wentzell and Terry Otto; and his granddaughter Bridget Thoresen.
He is survived by: his brother Ray Steffens (Sally); his wife Phyllis; his children, Mary Walters (Brian), Claudia McKeown (Kevin), Eileen Hachey (Mike), Jean Thoresen (Pete), John Steffens (Mary) and Gregory Steffens; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Alicia Callender (Brylee), Anna Walters, Emily, Abby, Patrick McKeown, Scott, Stefan Hachey, Katelyn, Natalie Thoresen, Ben and Charlie Steffens. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
