He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester and Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Magdalena J. Mays; his children, Joe, Robert, Sabrina and Luis; and his brother Jerry Oppie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sullivan First Congregational Church (503 US-224, Sullivan, OH 44880). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dynasty Lanes Bowling Center (3105 OH-103, Willard, OH 44890).
