We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2024, at the age of 80, Robert Allen Thurston of Pleasantville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thurston (Zip) and Irene Graham (John); and his brothers, Jack Spurlock, Glenn and Ralph Thurston.
He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Thurston (Ogburn); his children, Melinda Ross (Rob) and Jeffery Thurston (Karla); his grandchildren, Mallory, Dustin Meeker, Michael Ross, Chelsea Thurston (Ben), Samantha Reynolds (Jacob), Brian Thurston and Natalie Withem (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Melia, Jaxon Boyle, Piper, Josie Reynolds, Aubrey and Amelia Withem; and his siblings, Bradley Spurlock and Dianne McCane (Thurston). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Pleasant Township Fire Department (2925 Lancaster Thornville Rd NE, Lancaster, OH 43130).
