He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R. Turner and Ella Mae Turner; his brother Elmer M. Bright; his mother-in-law Opal Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Grandiminico, Lawrence Taylor Jr., Jon Taylor, Ramona Poling and Elizabeth Pinkstock.

He is survived by: his wife Jerry; his children, Jaquelyn Ann Turner, Edward Ernest Turner and Joseph Bryan Turner (Trista); his grandchildren, Sarah Turner, Thomas Lane Coon (Brittany) and David John Coon; his great grandchild Luciana Coon; his stepgreat-grandsons, Trent DeLong, Tyler DeLong and Brady Werth; and his siblings-in-law, Joann Bright, Peggy Taylor, Charles Taylor and Clyde Pinkstock.
