He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene R. Heider and Marcella J. Heider (Bella); and his sister Connie Dickerson. He is survived by: his wife Melanie A. Heider (Rouch); his daughter Stacie Dickinson (Darren) of West Milton; his granddaughter Kelli Ordway (Kory) of Dayton; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Nick, Zach Laycox of Eaton, Roslyn, Maddie and Landon Ordway of Dayton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter, 1110 N. County Road 25A, Troy, OH 45373.
