He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Lucas and Helen Lucas (Gregg); and his wife Sharon Lucas (Sims). He is survived by: his children, Todd Lucas (Heather) of Jamestown and Krista Shriver (Wayne) of Pleasant City; his brother Bill Lucas (Kay) of Florida; his grandchildren, Ethan Shriver (Maria), Heath Shriver (Taylor), Lane Lucas, Grace Lucas and Ben Lucas; his great grandchildren, Haidyn, Harlow, Holland and Noah; his nephews, Ty Lucas, Brett Lucas, Bradley Lucas and DJ Sims; and his niece Wendy Campbell (Sims).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A masonic service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
