She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Milligan and Vera Mae Teeters Milligan; and her siblings, Joyce Smith and David Milligan. She is survived by: her children, David Bettinger (Lisa) of Kent and Amy E. Carte (Joe) of Pleasant City; her grandchildren, Tyler Carte, Brenna Bettinger and Emily Bettinger; and her pet Leroy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
