He was predeceased by: his parents, Warder V. Barker and Georgia White Barker; his former wife Helen L. Rubesne Barker; his son Ronnie Barker; and his daughter-in-law Sue Barker.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Carpenter Porter Barker; his children, Gary Barker of Pleasant City, OH, Diane Colangelo (Charlie) of Pleasant City, Kathy Cook (Charlie) of Sarahsville, OH, Herbie Barker (Melodie) of Byesville, OH and Susie Allen (George) of Sarahsville; his stepsons, Mike Porter of Coshocton, OH, Tom Porter (Jane) of Coshocton and Ron Porter of Waco, TX; and his brother Danny Barker of Mannington, WV.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family plans to have Masonic Services at a later date. (Per the Governor's current Covid-19 guidelines, face coverings are required to attend all services, thank you for your cooperation.).
