With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Prater (Plainfield, Ohio), born in South, Virginia, who passed away on May 21, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Godfrey Prater and Eliza Jane Prater (Estep); his wife Dollie Prater; and his daughters, Donna Faye Cline and Lisa Pineda.
He is survived by: his son Roger Lee Prater (Tammie); his stepson Glen Lee Smith (Helen) of Newcomerstown; and his brother Franklin D. Prater. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
