He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Porteus and Margaret Porteus (Turner); and his brothers-in-law, Huey Cornelius and Joe Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Mindy Porteus and Jason Porteus; his siblings, Marjorie Lou Cornelius, Homer Porteus, Ellen Anderson, Hilda Lacy (Don), Kay Porteus, Jim Porteus (Debby), Janice Howard (David) and Marthamay Bode (Brian); and his nieces and nephews, Clark, Seth, Beth, Brance, Joellen, Tim, Jennifer, Christina, Melody, Tiffany, Andrea, Ivy, Taylor and Landon.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Coshocton County EMS; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
