He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley McDowell and Esther McDowell (Beechy). He is survived by: his wife Beatrice "BJ" (Weidman); his sons, Jim McDowell of Hillsdale, MI and Phil McDowell of Hillsdale, MI; his grandchildren, Randal McDowell of Houton, MI and Georgia McDowell of Ann Arbor, MI; his sister Barb Smucker (George) of Goshen, IN; his stepdaughter Christine Hartley (Adam) of Coshocton; and his stepgrandson Shane Horstman. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
