He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy R. Colflesh and Ruth Colflesh (Ford); his wife Billie Jean Colflesh (Lovejoy); his sons, Eric, Dennis and James "Jamie"; his daughter-in-law Anita Colflesh; his siblings, Walter "Bud" Colflesh, James "Jim" Colflesh and Mary "Mickey" Scott; and his brother-in-law Robert Bowman.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Colflesh and David Colflesh; his siblings, Marcella Bowman and Guy Jr. Colflesh (Dolores); and his sister-in-law Myra Colflesh. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
