She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Horn and Arminda Horn (Payne); her husband Jack Dempsey; and her sons, David Dempsey, Gary Dempsey and Wallie Dempsey.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Kaufman (Ray), Terry Dempsey (Linda), Danny Joe Dempsey (Michelle) and Tony Dempsey (Sarah); her grandchildren, Corey Dempsey, Cassie Dempsey, Dakota Dempsey, Ethan Dempsey, Mike Finke, Chuck Dempsey, Stacy Dempsey, Jimmy Dempsey and Josh Dempsey; her sister Geraldine Runyon of West Virginia; and her daughters-in-law, Ann Dempsey and Kila Dempsey. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
