He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrance E. Hughes and Shirley A. Hughes (Watson); and his brother Patrick Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Kristy Shafer (Derek) and Brandon Hughes; his grandchildren, Hayleigh, Rylee, Chase and Cole; and his siblings, Michael Hughes of Marion, Kelly Williams (Ted) of Marion and Tereva Jones (Tim) of Indian Lake. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
