He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Nicol and Erna Nicol (Fisher); his wife Marilyn L. Nicol (Porschet); his brother Merrill Nicol; and his siblings-in-law, Debra Kunze and Robert Moder.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Nicol (Cindy) and Kim Murphy (David); his grandchildren, Chris Nicol, Kyle Nicol, Dr. Amber Mack (Alex), Greg Murphy and Brian Murphy; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Christopher, Conner, Aaron and Asher; his siblings, Rodney Nicol (Cheryl) and Connie Hager (Dean); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Nicol, Lois Moder and John Kunze.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church.
