He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar M. Sr. Bowman and Laura Bowman (James); his son-in-law Mark Burkhart; and his siblings, Edgar M. Bowman, Jr., William "Bill" Bowman and Ellen W. Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella Bowman (Colflesh); his daughters, Karen Huston (Dave), Sandy Stiltner (Kermit) and Barbara McConnor; his grandchildren, Amanda Trombley (Patrick) and Zach Huston; his great grandchildren, Natalie Taylor and Piper Trombley; his siblings, James F. Bowman Sr. (Georgia) and Kathy J. Yutzy (Freeman); and his sister-in-law Sheila Bowman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many good friends.
