He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brister and Katheryn Yaus Brister; his wife Connie Marie Wright Brister; and his siblings, Johnny and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Brister (Lindsey) of Orient, Tanya Brister of Plain City, Dawn Moser of Plain City and Michelle Stratford (Bill) of McArthur; and his sister Shirley Mae of Whitehall. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
