He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Izzard and Beulah Izzard; and his brother Jerry Izzard. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. (Trout); his children, Mark Izzard (Tabatha), Doug Izzard (Tiffany) and Tami Hagerty (Russ); his grandchildren, Tyler Izzard (Jess), Kayleigh Rice (Adam), Brittany Roberts, Maddison (Mitchell Jones), Taylor, Kennady, Jackson Izzard and Isabella Brown; and his great grandchildren, Briggs, Emilia Izzard, Stark and Penelope Rice.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home (202 E Main St, Plain City, OH 43064). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Grove Cemetery (8270 Cemetery Pike, Plain City, OH 43064).
