He was predeceased by: his parents, William Russell and Leona Russell (Jean); his great grandchild Rowan Burke; and his brothers, Donald Russell, David Russell, Wayne Russell and Jack Russell.
He is survived by: his sister Kathleen Klotz; his sisters-in-law, Jackie Lou Russell and Wilma Russell; his children, Rod Russell (Dorothy) and Nancy Patterson (Steve); his grandchildren, Brynn Craney (Chad), Brooke Russell, Blair Burke (Joe) and Brandon Bradley (Liz); and his great grandchildren, Rylan Burke, Morgyn Craney, Ripley Burke and Elliott Bradley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
