It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Joe Runyon of Plain City, Ohio, born in Paoli, Indiana, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Runyon and Lois Runyon (Apple); his brothers, Bob Runyon and Bill Runyon; and his sisters-in-law, Gwen Runyon, Ellen Runyon and Marge Runyon.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Runyon (Mullin); his sons, Kenny Runyon (Sheila), Scott Runyon (Mary) and Shawn Runyon (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Liam, Olivia Bretz, Logan, Luke, Leon, Rylan Runyon, Sophia, Jackson and Henry Runyon; his brothers, Keith and Damon Runyon (June); and his sister-in-law Dorice Runyon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

“All, So sorry to hear about your dad. He always seemed to be a man of faith with great character, and I totally enjoyed the times I got to see and talk with him at Thanksgiving and Easter celebrations. Clearly, he was a man with a great work ethics. I wish I had a chance to know him when he was younger as I am sure it would have generated a lot of good stories and memories. I'm tied up too much to make it too the visitation/funeral but will keep all of you in my prayers. Fr. Tom Nevels”
