It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl Dean Hassel Sr. of Plain City, Ohio, born in Rushsylvania, Ohio, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hassel and Minnie Hassel (Clark); his wife Carolyn R. Hassel; his daughter Susie Snyder; his grandsons, Trevor and Christopher; and his sister-in-law Wanda.
He is survived by: his children, Karl Hassel Jr. (Denise) of Reynoldsburg, Linda Hodge of Plain City and Chris Hassel of Dublin; his grandchildren, Trenity Allen (Kenny), Chanda Hodge, Cameron Hodge (Kayla), Kendrick Hodge, Taylor Hassel, Kylee Hassel, DeAntre Hassel, Danielle Bray (Shawn) and Joey Snyder (Allison); his great grandchildren, Leah Allen, Layla Allen, Laynee Allen, Lamar Allen, Lauren Allen, Xavier Hassel, Karmine Hodge, Braxxton Hodge, Frankie Hodge, Kobe Hodge, Ella Gray, Trisha Fox, Tristyn Fox, Kaiden Snyder and Addy Sue Snyder; and his great great grandchild Kalin Fox.
