She was predeceased by: her parents, Chilt M. and Lyda E. Ward (Osborn); her former husband Otis Clay; her son Michael Clay; her daughter-in-law Rita Clay; her siblings, Geneva Hughes, Maxwell Ward and Ronald Gene Ward; and her brothers-in-law, Bernard Hughes and Harry Wheeler.

She is survived by: her sons, Daryl Clay (Sue Holstein) of Raymond, Christopher Clay (Donna) of West Jefferson, Robin Clay (Sue) of Plain City and Timothy Clay (Angie O'Hara) of South Shore, KY; her sister Christina Wheeler; and her sisters-in-law, Rusty Ward and Emiline Ward. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons.
