He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse G. Dickinson Sr. and Lula Holliday Dickinson; and his sister Jennifer Dickinson Hairston (Jenny). He is survived by: his sister Judith "Judy" Dickinson Young; his niece Gail Elaine Young; his nephew Aaron Anthony Young (Paula); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amariah Thomas, Will "Carter" Thomas IV, Caleb Young, Anyssa Young, Aaron Jr. "AJ" Young and Zelda McDaniel.
