He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth L. Layton and Opal M. Layton (Horn); and his wife Peggy L. Layton (Ott). He is survived by: his daughter Crystal H Chapman; his grandchild Wes; and his great grandchildren, Jacquelyn Chapman, Wesley Jacob Chapman (Brooke), Julia Beatty (Casey), Colton Chapman, Chloe Scott and Caleb Scott.
