With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Hackney of Plain City, Ohio, born in Wakefield, Ohio, who passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Hackney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dianna "Sue" Hackney (Caldwell); his parent Alice Hackney (Boggs); and his sisters, Dolores Stanley (Hackney) and Mary Smith (Hackney). He is survived by: his daughter LaRonda Hackney-DeMatteis of Plain City, Ohio; his grandsons, Jack DeMatteis and Victor DeMatteis; and his siblings, Ruby Jester (Hackney) of Plain City, Ohio and Gerald Hackney (Marion) of Townsend, MA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Loving Care Hospice in Marysville, Ohio, in memory of Jack Hackney.
