He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Phillips and Rebecca Phillips (Hay); his former wife Betty June Phillips (Lewis); his siblings, Hazel Harrington (Carson), Lydia Phillips and George Daniel Phillips; and his stepdaughter Dianna Mitchell.
He is survived by: his son Excavating; his wife Maxine Fairchild Phillips; his children, Daniel L. Phillips (Nancy), Linda Humble (Mark) and Cindy Nicol (Gary); his stepdaughter Marlene Hay; his grandchildren, Cody Phillips, Jacqueline Hill (Robert), Shawn Humble, Lakrina Carnes (Christopher), Christopher Nicol and Kyle Nicol; his granddaughter-in-law Leslie Phillips; his great grandchildren, Lydia Hill, Evelyn Hill, Nathan Nicol, Christopher Nicol, Conner Nicol, Raiden Humble, Braxton Humble, Madalyn Carnes, Kennedy Carnes, Colton Carnes, Brayden Phillips and Alivea Phillips; and his siblings, Maggie Picklesimon, Joyce North (Don), June Glass (John) and Ambrose Phillips (Linda).
