He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Pargeon Wolfe; and his granddaughters, Ara Katherine and Hannah Caroline Hart. He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Rogers Dorsey; his daughters, Beth Wolfe, Lynn Wolfe VanVleet (Daniel), Bonnie Dorsey Reilly (Joseph), Tricia Wolfe Brotherton, Susan Dorsey Sundberg (Michael) and Jill Dorsey Hart; his grandchildren, Desiree, Phillip, Carrie (Michael), Heather, Meaghan (Jenny), Sarah (Jordan), Ian, Thomas, Gabriel (Victoria), John and Grace; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Rebecca, Addison, Grayson, Claire and Beckham.
