He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Kauffman and Anna Kauffman (Keim). He is survived by: his sons, William C. Kauffman and Kevin L. Kauffman; his sisters, Irene Allen, Anna Mae Miller, Mary Plank and Ruth Mast; his wife Carol Kauffman (Chapman); his children, Krista Precourt, Kenneth Kauffman (Kym) and Carolyn Turner (Jay); his grandchildren, Rachel Precourt, Charles Precourt, Jacob Precourt, Joshua Miller, Christian "CJ" Miller, Jim Kauffman, Kyle Kauffman (Lexi) and Nicole Berczelly (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Chase Wilson, Connor Manning, Sicily, Paisley and Lorelei Kauffman; and his sisters, Helen Thurmond (James), Jean Swartzentruber (Homer) and Betty Silks.
