It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald F. Nicol of Plain City, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 7, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Nicol and Harriet Loschky Nicol. He is survived by: his son Brian Nicol; his wife Karen Ann Rausch Nicol; his daughters, Kim Nicol of Pasadena, Sonya Cross (Ray) of Plain City and Michelle Thrush (Scott) of Plain City; his daughter-in-law Dawna Nicol of Marysville; his grandchildren, Brianne Moore (Richard), Bailey Hackney (Joe), Brent Nicol (Kristen), Todd Dotson, Tyler Cross, Troy Cross, Micah Cross, Eli Thrush, Lincoln Thrush and McKain Thrush; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Rhett Moore, Abel, Elliot, Samuel Hackney and Aiden Van Veen; and his siblings-in-law, Carmen Rausch (Janet) of Ludlow Falls, Ohio and Kathy McKenzie (Ron) of Marysville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or St. John's Lutheran School, in support of his commitment to Christian education.
