He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hughes and Geneva Hughes (Ward). He is survived by: his wife Linda K. Hughes (Moore); his children, Shane J. Hughes (Gwen), Sarah L. Miller (Chris) and Brandon D. Hughes; his grandchildren, Aaron "Opie" Miller, Alyssa Miller (Chase Brown), Bridget Yutzy and Courtney Yutzy (Alex Rutan); his great grandchild Lyla Brown; and his siblings, Willard Hughes (Patty) and Melissa Wolfle. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
