He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence O. Ault and Viola T. Ault (Pohlschneider); his siblings, James Ault and Donna Batton; and his son William "Billy" Ault.

He is survived by: his sister Norma Cromes of Piqua. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
